Ringers Bag Up Expander Pellets represent the next generation of the original and still the best commercial match fishing baits. Designed by top angler Steve Ringer, these pellets are renowned for their firm, spongy texture and low oil content, making them ideal for serious match anglers.
These highly popular baits hold exceptionally well on the hook and can be fished floating straight from the bag or transformed into slow-sinking hookbaits depending on your fishing conditions and technique.
Getting the perfect consistency is straightforward. Using a Ringers Pellet Pump, place pellets into the pump and fill nearly to the top with water. Pump 2 to 3 times — pumping more can break down their structure. Once the pellets have sunk, tip away most of the water, leaving just enough to keep them moist.
For the best results, empty the pellets into a clean plastic bag and seal it tightly to remove all air. Tie a knot right against the pellets to stop them from over-expanding and becoming mushy. Leave them sealed for 30 to 40 minutes on the bank before transferring to your bait tub. They will be soft, durable, and ready to hook directly.
Available in 4mm and 6mm sizes, 400g per pack. Choose your size! Perfect for anglers who demand professional-grade baits that deliver consistent results.
