XK55 pole floats from Middy are purpose designed for anglers with international ambitions - those at the very peak of their craft - and are perfect for use with quality poles like those in the Middy Reactacore range, including the XZ65-3 and XK55-3. Offering perfect balance and presentation, the 16 different models/sizes are all hand-made in the UK, using special high-buoyancy AA grade balsa and featuring a steel core anti-snag side eye, super-strength core and buoyant tip. The Series 1 is a rugby ball shape and a great summer carp all-rounder, and is also available in a shorter Series 1M version designed for use on the near shelf in the margins. The Series 2 has a pencil body, which is excellent for finesse presentations for silvers and F1/carp and also great for bigger carp in the winter months when bites are more finicky. It too is available in a shorter Series 2M version, for use as a sensitive float in shallow swims on the far bank of carp lakes. The 2M can also be used in the margins when more finesse is required.
