The P.T.F.E Insert Elastic Protectors prevent damage to a (hollow) elastic during transport in a 2-part (puller) kit. Where the elastic is normally folded over 2 thin carbon walls, it now runs over elastic friendly and rounded P.T.F.E. material. The 2 raised sides prevent the elastic from coming into contact with the bottom of a holdall or pole tube. In addition, the INSERT prevents friction with the inside of the rod, making the elastic function significantly better. The Insert Elastic Protectors are supplied in an assortment of different sizes, covering the majority of kits on the market.
