Krank Choddy:

Not long after the Krank hook was conceived, Tom Dove hatched a plan to introduce a chod version, with an out-turned eye. His imagination was captured by the way that the continuously curving shank could mirror the curve of the chod rig, creating what many of us consider to be the ultimate chod hook.

Just like the standard Krank hooks, the Krank Choddy has a beaked point and slight offset that combine to offer unrivalled hook hold security. They can of course be used with unstripped, coated braid or mono hook links to produce effective bottom-bait rigs too!

Krank Choddy Barbless:

Korda Krank Choddy Barbless. It has the same sweeping curved shank as the original Krank hook, as well as a beaked, slightly offset, point and a very wide gape but with a big difference, an out-turned eye. So this hook is perfectly suited for you ‘Chod’ or ‘Hinge’ users and based on the amazing results of the original Krank alone, this hook could change your season.

Krank X:

The original Krank hook pattern, devised by Tom Dove, has been so successful, it seemed only right to add to the family. The latest addition comes in the formidable shape of the Krank X, which is exactly the same as the Krank, but is made from a thicker, stronger wire, which means that it's perfect for more extreme fishing conditions.

Long Shank X:

Based on the dimensions of the legendary fly hooks, like the B175, that found favour in the emerging big-carp scene, the Longshank X is perfect for tackling ultra-riggy fish on pressured waters.
The 20-degree in-turned eye helps it to flip over and catch hold faster than any other hook and the long, straight point ensures good hook holds, time and again. Forging on the bend makes the Longshank X a formidable pattern, that won't let you down in tough, snaggy conditions. It can be used for pop-up and bottom-bait presentations.

Krank:

This pattern is the brainchild of Tom Dove, who was looking to design a pattern of hook that had the aggressive sweeping shank of the Kurv Shank, with an enormous gape for maximum purchase and hooking potential. Throw in an offset point too and you have the Krank, a hook that's such a good hooker it's best used with a simple knotless knot setup!

Tom had simple setups like his own 'muzza' in mind when he began the development process, but the end product is a much more versatile beast that ensures that not only will you hook more fish, but you'll land more too!

Krank Barbless:

The Barbless Korda Krank hook has proven particularly popular when used in conjunction with the KD rig, especially when rigged using the classic knotless knot. This ensures that you can fish with an exceptionally simple pattern which offers you devastating results. What’s more, it ensures that this hook is highly versatile, as it can be used in a whole variety of scenarios in order to ensure angling success. If you’re looking for a high quality hook which has been proven to succeed then the Korda Krank is the one for you.

Choddy:

This hook was designed primarily for use with the popular chod and hinged stiff rig presentations, alongside a stiff filament like Mouth Trap. However, its appeal doesn't end there, it's a super all-round pop-up hook, which can be used with rigs like Darrell Peck's N-Trap pop-up rig, as well as Tom Dove's N-Trap bottom-bait rig.
To allow the sweeping curve of the chod rig to continue unhindered up onto the hook, the Choddy has an out-turned eye. The rest of it's shape is based around the magical dimension of the iconic Wide Gape pattern, with all its attendant hold-and-hold capabilities. The Choddy is thicker in the wire than the standard Wide Gape, which makes it perfect for the biggest carp in the world.
Darrell Peck has landed fish to over 70lb on the size-eights, which gives you an insight into the incredible properties that this hook possesses.

Mixa:

The first dedicated floater fishing hook. These have been specifically designed to hook even the shyest feeding carp on the surface. With a short shank, wide gape, beaked offset point, they truly are made for the job. The final most noticeable point about these hooks, are their sharpness; hypodermic and piercing is the best possible explanation I can give. So much so that the guys at Korda have been using them for all manner of carp fishing situations. Korda

Mixa Barbless:

Korda's first dedicated floater fishing hook. Korda’s Ali Hamidi commented; “They have been initially designed for surface fishing, but great hook patterns like this, considering their sharpness and characteristics lend themselves to lots of fishing scenarios. They’ve been catching specimen Chub, Barbel and obviously loads of carp during testing”. The Mixa hook is available in barbed and barbless versions, in size 6, 8, 10 and 12.

Kurv Shank:

The Kurv Shank is a fantastically versatile hook. It's agressive hooking properties make it ideal for pop-up presentations and bottom-bait rigs too. It features in some of the most devastating rigs that we know, including Danny's trademark IQ D-Rig and Ali Hamidi & Gaz Fareham's pop-up combi rig.
It owes its fantastic hooking properties to the sweeping curve of the shank, in-turned eye and long, straight, needle-sharp point. Those features make this pattern a great hooker when used without shrink tube; a simple knotless-knot rig will suffice when using the Kurv Shanks.

Kurv Shank Barbless:

The range of Korda Kurv Shank Hooks are all designed to flip over and catch hold in the carp's mouth without the need for any shrink tubing.

These hooks boast an ultra sharpened straight point to help minimise damage when hooking a fish and is constructed from a highly durable PTFE. These hooks are essential for many of the Korda rigs and are widely popular amongst coarse and carp anglers.

Thanks to the hook's unique shape the hooks works well with both pop-ups and bottom baits, and most hooklinks including soft braids, Hybrid and IQ Soft.

The Korda Kurv Shank Hooks are available in a range of sizes ranging from size 2 to size 12 in both barbed and barbless options. Each pack of hooks includes 10 hooks.

Wide Gape:

The Wide Gape hook has become a true design classic, and has accounted for more big carp than any other pattern. It was based on the cult Maruta Kinryu pattern that found favour with the likes of Terry Hearn in the 1990s. The five-degree in-turned eye, short shank, heavily forged bend and beaked point combine to give anglers a hooked-to-landed ratio far in excess of anything else that's achievable.
It can be used for pop-up and bottom-bait presentations and is the hook to opt for when fishing for the very biggest and trickiest carp around.

Wide Gape X:

The Wide Gape X is a beefed-up version of the Wide Gape, designed for use in the most extreme fishing situations on the Planet. It's been road-tested on infamously snaggy waters, like Rainbow Lake, and has even been used to land monster species like Arapaima and Mekong Catfish.
Just like it's little brother, the Wide Gape X is suited to both pop-up and bottom-bait presentations. The heavily forged, square bend, beaked point and in-turned eye combine to make sure that you land that elusive monster, whether you're fishing a hard syndicate in the UK, or dodging tree stumps on some Continental super-water.
