Suggestions on looking after your live maggots on receiving them:

Your maggots will arrive in sealed bags, on receiving them please open up as soon as possible & place them in a large shallow tray, or multiple smaller trays,

They will take approximately 1-2 hours to revive fully once taken out of the bags,

So they remain in the best condition possible add bran meal, sawdust or maize meal, this will stop the maggots sweating & escaping, if you are planning on wanting to use the maggots over a period of time & not just for one fishing trip it is best to keep then in a fridge or if this is not available a cold garage floor is the next best option.
